Discovering Dural Baptist

Because of what happens to us when we surrender our lives to Jesus we now belong to God’s “forever family”. This seminar introduces us to the concept of “the church” in a general sense but to Dural Baptist Church in particular. Led by our senior Pastor, Kevin Keegan, this seminar is in 2 parts and explores what it means to belong to a church as well as examining the vision, mission, values and structure of Dural Baptist Church.

Discipleship Growth Seminars

Seminar 1 “Beginning Your Christian Journey”
This seminar has been prepared to help new believers build on a firm foundation by addressing the two basic questions; “WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME?” and “ HOW CAN I BE SURE?” We want to grasp what actually took place at the point when you repented and requested the Lord Jesus to become your Lord and Saviour and the certainty of that promise.

Seminar 2 “Moving On To Christian Maturity”

As disciples of Jesus our destiny is to become like Jesus. But how does that happen? What are the means and methods God uses to achieve that goal in our lives? In this seminar we explore the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives, the place of the Bible (the Word of God) as well as the nature of prayer, fellowship and service.

Seminar 3 “Discovering Your Christian Maturity”

There is nothing more fulfilling in a life of discipleship than knowing how God has gifted you and then using those gifts in the place and among the people He chooses. In this seminar we identify (a) how God has been shaping you over the years and preparing you for your unique role or ministry in and through the local Church and (b) where you might best “fit” in this local church.

Baptism Explained

This is a helpful seminar designed to inform people on the nature and meaning of baptism.

Christianity Explained

This is a 6 week discovery course where you will discover a way to learn about the Christian faith and how to get started on a lifetime relationship with Jesus.

We’ll cover the big questions like:

• Who is this man Jesus?
• Why should we trust in what he says?
• What do Christians believe?
• Jesus - the son of God
• Jesus - crucifixion
• Jesus - his resurrection
• Grace - not works
• Repentance
• Believing

Care Force Life Keys & Life Education Courses

A number of 10 week courses to assist participants in understanding themselves, developing healthy relationships and finding healing from past hurts and pain in their lives.
