Worship / Band / Teams
We have a great worship team who support both our morning and evening services and special events. In preparation for this, there is an initial audition process with ongoing rehearsal and workshops. These are in place so we offer our best back to God for His use… [more]
Audio Visual / Multimedia
This is a new and exciting area of ministry. As we continue to move into the world of modern technology the use of advanced presentation, video, photography etc are becoming more a part of our worship and special church events. The sky’s the limit! Is this for you?
Sound
Everything that you hear on a Sunday morning is electronically amplified through our church’s sound equipment and controlled by a sound technician. It is a vital, exciting, challenging and rewarding ministry to be involved with, so if you have an ear for sound, are technically minded and like fiddling with knobs, then this is a role for you.
Lighting
To creatively enhance the atmosphere and enable a deeper sense of worship. Who can get involved? Anyone! We offer on the job training. No previous experience.
Computer Projection
Our team of computer/projection operators perform a vital ministry helping facilitate our worship. If you are confident using presentation software then you may consider joining this team
Hospitality
We have a committed team that staff our Newcomers Morning Tea area every Sunday to welcome visitors and friends. Other hospitality activities are held as ways to connect people in our church and to help get to know the wider circle of church family. Dinners, family fun days, picnics and lunches in our on site cafe are just a few ways we can get to know you.
Creche
Crèche is a ministry that not only involves the minding of 0-3year olds on Sunday morning, but provides contact with their parents, many of whom may be first-time visitors to our church. You may be the first point of contact for these newcomers and hence are given a great opportunity to make them feel welcome and allow them to sit in church without distraction.
Stage Design
Our Design team meets together to discuss ideas to visually stimulate the participants of church in Sunday morning worship times. This is done mainly on the stage and during sermon series or special events in our church life here at Dural. Anyone who has a flare for decorating or visual appeal would be more than welcome.
Set Up
Several teams of men bounce into action early on Sunday morning to transform our centre for our morning worship service. Be part of this vital ministry and support those men who already serve in this area. We need your help!
Prayer Team
Our prayer ministry is a vital part of our church. Prayer teams are available after our morning and evening services each Sunday for people needing prayer. We also have a prayer team that can be accessed at anytime for specific prayer points.
Greeters & Ushers
Greeting on Sunday Mornings is more than just a friendly smile and handshake. It is a opportunity that needs to be developed to the point that it is a way of life that allows the goodness and love of God to radiate from our personalities all the time.
