Vision
A Vibrant, Compassionate, Life-Transforming Church - Living And Giving The Hope of Christ.
Vibrant – a growing community in which people experience vital, life giving connections with God and one another; a people alive, pulsating with a desire to minister and be effective for God.Compassionate – extending the love and grace of Jesus through active care, ministry, action, integrity.
Life-transforming – being part of God’s redemptive work, setting people free & giving hope.
Living the hope – people who reflect and “live” the hope of Christ: people journeying together, developing into all God made us to be, so that together we become a people of Godly influence – locally, regionally, cross-culturally, and to the ends of the earth.
A church, known as ‘that church down the road that lives out the hope they believe,’ without facades, willing to engage, willing to risk, stepping-out for Jesus, trusting in a ‘hope that does not disappoint’,
Giving the hope – people extending the hope of Christ to others whatever the cost. Helping people, resourcing people, journeying with people - so that others may know the hope of Christ – and so find freedom, purpose and fulfilment in Him.
A church where our reputation, our witness, our actions, our voice – is known for its desire to give hope, from the hope we have in Christ, transforming lives and transforming communities.

Mission
To reach and lead all people to become passionate, purposeful followers of Jesus Christ empowered by the Spirit bringing the hope of God’s Kingdom to the world.
- Reach - extend out to, mission, evangelism… - reaching out beyond ourselves
- Lead - guide, show the way, go ahead along the journey… leading by what is true in our own life
- All People - inclusive, all ages, all races, all cultures
- Passionate - vibrant, alive, excited… - a relationship with Jesus that is real & contagious
- Purposeful - having a clear direction for life and ministry - being equipped, and strengthened for ministry in the church and world
- Followers - those who pursue and own Jesus Christ as Saviour, Lord and King; and reflect in their lives the life and actions of the one whose name they bear - Jesus.
- Empowered - encouraged, authorised, released… given power by the Holy Spirit to minister God’s love, grace, and compassion
- Hope of God’s Kingdom - where God reigns and His redeeming power can restore lives, as well as social, economic, environmental, and political orders.
HOPE
H Hearts full and impassioned to worship God throughout every part of our life - connecting people to a deep, personal, intimate walk with their Lord.
O Outreaching - to our community, our nation, and world for Jesus - Leading unbelievers into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ (the hope of the world), beginning in our community & extending to the ends of the earth.
P Purposeful followers of Christ - strengthened for life, relationships, & ministry - and connected into God’s family (the church) Incorporating people into God’s family, equipped, trained and deepened in walk with God.
E Empowered by the Spirit to be instruments of truth, justice, hope, compassion and peace. Expressing God’s love to each other, and to a lost community, nation and world… loving and offering hope through practical ministries that reflect Christ’s compassion and advocacy, and bring about God’s Kingdom.

Values
God Dependence
Being a people fully relying on God and following God’s way, through His Word (the Bible), the Holy Spirit’s leading, Prayer, and the ministry of His body (the church).

Mission
Fulfilling together the mission of God; bringing God’s wholeness to people and our world through Jesus Christ. Lost people matter to God and so matter to us! Respecting our heritage and never compromising God’s truth, we will seek to fulfil our God-given mission in ways relevant to the culture/s we serve.

Community
Being a real and caring community of faith where people are built up, encouraged, and experience the love and compassion of God, and in turn extend that back to our world in need.

Growth
Seeing people grow (physically, emotionally, relationally, spiritually) to be complete in Christ, alive and excited about their faith in Him; a church on fire for God and His will, vibrant, growing, enduring; and impacting the world for His Kingdom.

Teamwork
Working together as one, for success comes together and teamwork reflects our love of Christ. Without unity we lack power & witness, & without teamwork we lack effectiveness and impact.

Leadership
Godly servant leadership - leadership with integrity under God and His Word has authority and responsibility and is given to men and women to equip people for ministry to build the church.

Stewardship
Maximising and utilising generously all the resources God has given to us – in the way of Spiritual gifts, finances, abilities, and time to further His Kingdom.

Excellence
Excellence for God in everything we attempt for Him. God gave us His best in Jesus and He deserves our best in everything He calls us to do.

Integrity
A lifestyle of honesty and truth in all that we undertake, a lifestyle that reflects the faith that we have and the name that we carry as Christians; an undivided lifestyle where Christ is Lord of all.

Grace
Being a healing community, extending God’s grace and accepting one another as Christ has accepted us! We accept people where they’re at, and journey with them in support and encouragement as they move to where God would have them be.
