The Dural District Baptist Church is one of 287 churches that form the Baptist Churches of New South Wales. Baptist work began in the Dural - Kenthurst area in 1974, meeting in local halls in the area.

In 1984 the church moved to its own building on the current church site.

In 1994 the Dural Sports & Leisure Centre was built to aid in the churches mission of being an integral part of the community as well as providing more room for the growing church.

In 2004 more additions to the centre were completed further increasing the churches ability to service the local community.
