Young People – Youth
Young people …this is the place for you! Chicago is the Youth ministry here at Dural Baptist Church and focuses on encouraging young people in a relationship with Jesus.
Here’s a short summary of some of the activities we have here at Dural and we would love you to join us.
The Loft
This is a ‘drop in centre’ that serves as a place to come and chill out during the week. The Loft is open Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 3:30-6pm. It’s basically a cafe for young people, with playstations, music, guitars and just good vibes.
The Vine
The Vine happens before Youth on a Friday night and runs from 5:30-6:30. Here we look at who Jesus is and what He has done for us.
Friday Nights
Here heaps of young people from around Dural come and have a good time. We have plenty of things that promise to make for a good night. There’s good music, chill out areas, The Loft, Sport, BBQ, Skating, Fifa, Games etc that promise to make for a fun night. We also have a short talk and have Year group time. The night starts at 7 and runs till 9pm.
The night is run by over 30 volunteers who are fantastic young adults.
We also run a Camp in every January which is always a quality time away.
Plug- Year 6-9
At Sunday Services we group years 6-9 together during the morning service where we learn more about how to follow Jesus. Here we have quality teaching and have an excellent time together. Visit http://www.plug.id.au
