Young People – Children
Creche
Creche is available on Sunday mornings. We recognise that infants and pre-schoolers are very special people in the life of this community. Running simultaneous to the Sunday morning service from 9.30am to 10.45am, we care for, entertain, play with and minister to these energetic and enthusiastic children
Our carers just love being with the kids! They are also screened under the NSW Government Child Protection Laws. Please feel free to drop off your children to the creche, children aged (0-3years) or the pre-schoolers aged 3-5 years as you arrive for the service.
Kidzone
This is our Sunday morning ministry to children to school age. It makes full use of media, technology, music and fun to aid introducing them to JESUS. Kidzone commences after the announcements in the morning service and lasts for the duration of the service. Ages are broken down into two sections: Years K-1 and 2-5 years.
Family Services:
Once a term the morning service and the kids come together for a special family service. We have seen this become a vital tradition to our church. Each service is jam packed full of family fun as well as the kids have a chance to showcase what they have been learning in Kidzone. The service concludes with a special morning tea in the church playground with fun activities like jumping castles for the kids!
Playtime Groups:
If you are a parent with a child up to the age of 6 years then we would love to have you join either PLAYTIME groups
in the Activity Centre at the Church every Thursday and Friday mornings from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
The Activity Centre and outdoor surrounding play area has been made “child friendly” so as to sensitively cater for their enthusiastic playtime. Also there are a number of caring women who come and spend time with the kids and parents—thus also giving time for parents to have the opportunity to get to know each other.
Kidsmania
Kidsmania is an awesome holiday program for the kids in years K-6. Run in April and July school holidays, this week is filled with crazy games, crafts, sports and tons of fun.
CHICAGO
Every Friday Night in school terms from 7pm to 9pm for Year 6 to Year 12. A place to come and enjoy a variety of activities held here at the Centre, theme nights, events and community groups.
Here heaps of young people from around Dural come and have a good time. We have plenty of things that promise to make for a good night. There’s good music, chill out areas, The Loft, Sport, BBQ, Skating, Fifa, Games etc that promise to make for a fun night. We also have a short talk and have Year group time. The night starts at 7 and runs till 9pm.
The night is run by over 30 volunteers who are fantastic young adults.
