Opportunities for Women to Connect
There are a wide range of small groups available during the day or night. Groups for men, women, couples, or families. A small group provides close friends within the church family where we can grow as Christians and encourage one other.
There are many areas in mission were opportunities exist for adults to be involved both here and beyond the centre.
Mixed social functions are also available to connected with others – such as the Sunday Lunch Group, dinners, family camps and much more.

Mums In Prayer (formerly Mums In Touch International – MITI)
Mums in Prayer is an international prayer ministry comprising of small groups of mums (typically 5 – 15) who meet on a weekly basis to pray for their children, schools and teachers. Mums in Prayer operates in over 95 countries with over 200,000 members and started 22 years ago in the USA by one fearful mum and her two anxious friends. These women knew God was the answer to the worries they felt when their boys became teenagers.
Each meeting lasts for one hour and follows a structured format. Mums pray conversationally in one accord, listen to the Holy Spirit and trust God for answers. This ministry is for mothers, grandmothers, aunts or friends who are willing to pray for a specific child irrespective of the child’s age. We know our children face so many pressures and to “stand in the gap” through prayer is the best gift we can give to them.
Claire’s First Hand Experience
Some years ago I had the privilege of forming and leading a Mums in Prayer group in the UK and we were truly amazed at the way the Lord answered our prayers. We gained confidence and purpose in our praying and were encouraged and strengthened as we prayed Scripture into the lives of our children. I experienced first hand the life changing effects of answered prayer.
The Lord has definitely given me a passion for this ministry. Mums Prayer – mums in touch with God, their children, their school and one another through prayer. We need to support and encourage each other, especially those mothers who carry heavy burdens for their children.
Ladies Time Out Lunch
A place for ladies to connect and be encouraged as they enjoy a free light lunch. Also hear a little of what God is doing in and through the lives of some amazing women, Held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month during school terms in our upstairs Cafe at 1.00pm through to 2.30pm. Everyone is welcome!
Social Events!
We also have some fantastic social events for women. This is all put together by a dedicated and enthusiastic team of volunteers providing events such as as movie nights, gingerbread nights etc that you can bring your friends to and have some fun!
