Men’s Activies

Opportunities for Men to Connect

There are a wide range of small groups available during the day or night. Groups for men, women,  couples, or families. A small group provides close friends within the church family where we can grow as Christians and encourage one other.

There are many areas in mission were opportunities exist for adults to be involved both here and beyond the centre.

Mixed social functions are also available to connected with others – such as the Sunday Lunch Group, dinners, family camps and much more.

Men’s Activities

The “Otherside Mens Breakfast” team want to welcome anyone who would like to come and engage in a bit of friendship with other guys over breakfast. The aim is to provide a stimulating and non – threatening environment where men can develop relationships and increase networks with other guys.

The breakfasts are held every first Saturday in the month from 7.30am to 8.30am at the upstairs café on the church premises. A hot breakfast is served free of charge.

Step Beyond Adventures

Provides the opportunity for guys and at times the family, to get into some serious outdoor stuff such as 4 wheel driving, bushwalking, canyoning, fishing etc. There are several activities organised throughout the year so just select one that has some appeal to you .

Men’s Dinners

These events are a good way to connect with other men in our church, but also a great way to invite friends to join in. A relaxed and friendly way to get to know other men in the community.

Dural Men’s Shed

FROM MARCH 2012

THE  DURAL COMMUNITY WILL HAVE IT’S OWN MEN”S SHED!!

This is an opportunity for men who want to get involved in woodworking or metalworking. The shed is open to men of all ages and we are particularly  interested in young men who may want to learn some skills. If you only have limited manual skills there is still plenty to enjoy. Just come and meet other men in a great friendly environment

The shed is an initiative of Dural Baptist Church and is located at the Dural Sport and Leisure Centre downstairs car park area.
