Prayer Ministry

Prayer ministry is a vital part of our church.

Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and  I will give you rest” Matthew 11 v28

Opportunities for Prayer

Prayer following the Sunday Service

Each week members of the prayer team are at the front of the church and would count it a privilege to be able to pray with you….or simply ask any one of the team wearing a green name tag and they will be happy to pray with you.

Prayer Chain

Simply pass on your prayer request to us by filling out your ‘get connected’ card at either the morning or evening service,  phoning or emailing the office or logging on to our           church website. If your prayer request is highly sensitive please tick the “Confidential – Pastors Only” box on the Get Connected Card used on Sundays.

Personal Prayer Ministry

Individual prayer ministry can be arranged by  appointment. For further information contact Kerri Hercus 9651 5408

Oasis

Our prayer and healing service “Oasis” is held in the Activity Centre. It is a time when you can come and be still before God, or if you choose, have others pray with you and seek God on your behalf.  Do you need to step aside from the busyness of everyday life and bring your  requests and concerns to God? Dates and times will be advertised in the Church bulletin.

Are you struggling with health problems, tough decisions, or difficulties with a loved one? Why not find a prayer partner?

We invite you to come and share in the miraculous work of our God, who answers the cries of His people and who longs to bless them.

Mums In Touch

Mums in Touch International (MITI) is an international prayer ministry comprising of small groups of mums (typically 5 – 15) who meet on a weekly basis to pray for their children, schools and teachers. MITI operates in over 95 countries with over 200,000 members and started 22 years ago in the USA by one fearful mum and her two anxious friends. These women knew God was the answer to the worries they felt when their boys became teenagers.

Each meeting lasts for one hour and follows a structured format. Mums pray conversationally in one accord, listen to the Holy Spirit and trust God for answers. This ministry is for mothers, grandmothers, aunts or friends who are willing to pray for a specific child irrespective of the child’s age. We know our children face so many pressures and to “stand in the gap” through prayer is the best gift we can give to them.
